Officially, Jeff Carter scored a pair of goals, including the game winner with just under 3 minutes to play. Officially, the Philadelphia Flyers beat the Colorado Avalanche in our home opener 4-2. And officially, we got lucky as hell. “Oh yeah, I'm embarressed.” (Courtesy: Yard Barker) The Flyers came out of the gate strong, solidly outplaying the Avs .  They read plays, kept pressure off Sergei Bobrovsky , and created chance after chance.
