Any coherent thoughts about the Flyers’ easy 5-2 win over the Florida Panthers last night vanished when I heard the horrifying news about the death of ex-Flyers Luke Richardson’s 14-year-old daughter, Daron. It’s a cliche to say things like that give you perspective and make you realize how unimportant sports are in the grand scheme of life.
