Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren managed only a “no comment,” when asked about his interest in Devils captain Jamie Langenbrunner, who sat out Thursday night’s 4-2 Flyers victory in Newark and is expected to be traded on Friday. The Flyers reportedly offered two draft picks for Langenbrunner but were denied. The Flyers have a first-rounder and a third-rounder, but lost their 2011 second-round pick in the Scottie Upshall for Dan Carcillo trade. Langenbrunner waived his no-trade clause, but has given the Devils a short list of teams for whom he is willing to play.
