Peter Laviolette asked that we not report this until after it took place, but the Flyers are practicing RIGHT NOW on the ice in New York’s Central Park. Practice began at 1 p.m. in the picturesque setting of the snow-covered park, which sits in the shadows of Manhattan’s skyscrapers. Laviolette planned the event weeks ago but kept it quiet from everyone but his players and training staff.
