When Haddonfield’s Steven Kemp showed up at the Flyers’ practice rink on Tuesday wearing his dress blues from the United States Naval Academy, he hoped that maybe a player would toss him a puck. Flyers enforcer Jody Shelley did something more, inviting him into the Flyers’ dressing room. “He was wearing his uniform, so I thought I’d invite him in to meet the guys,” Shelley said with a gap-toothed smile. Kemp, 20, watched practice with his girlfriend, Amanda King, but abandoned her without a second thought.
