One night after goaltender Brian Boucher stole the show by stopping Vincent Lecavalier, Simon Gagne, Steven Stamkos and Marty St. Louis on successive shootout attempts, rookie Sergei Bobrovsky was the man of the hour in Sunrise, Fla., shutting the door in a lopsided third period in which the Flyers were outshot 19-9. Bobrovsky made several acrobatic saves to preserve the win, which came after the Flyers nearly blew a 3-0 lead. Mike Richards, Andreas Nodl and James van Riemsdyk scored in the first 26 minutes of play, but the Flyers had to hold off a furious rally by the Panthers before Danny Briere potted an empty-netter.
