The Flyers have recalled 6-1, 180-lb center Ben Holmstrom from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms, according to General Manager Paul Holmgren. Holmstrom will wear #34 and will be available to make his NHL debut tonight when the Flyers host the Toronto Maple Leafs. Holmstrom, 23 (4/9/1987), has posted 10 goals and 17 assists for 27 points while appearing in all 60 games for the Phantoms this season, the only player on the roster to do so. His most recent goal, in the third period of Sunday’s game vs. Binghamton, broke a 2-2 tie en route to a 5-2 win over the Senators.
