It’s Bobrovsky’s job to lose

Flyers coach Peter Laviolette has given rookie goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky the ball and what he does with it will determine the Flyers’ fate. Used in an alternating role with veteran Brian Boucher through much of December, January and early February, Bobrovsky has started six of the Flyers’ last eight games and has gone 2-3-1, allowing three or more goals in all but one game. On Sunday, Laviolette must decide whether to give the Russian rookie his third start in four days when the Flyers visit the New York Rangers. “He wants to see how he does in back-to-back games,” Flyers defenseman Kimmo Timonen said
