The Flyers have brought the Trenton Titans back to life. At a press conference today in Trenton Comcast-Spectacor president Peter Luukko, who also happens to the the Flyers’ president, announced that the Titans would be the East Coast Hockey League affiliate of the Flyers, joining the AHL Adirondack Phantoms. “The Philadelphia Flyers and the Comcast-Spectacor Family of Companies are excited to be affiliated with the Trenton Titans,” Luukko said in a statement. “As our ECHL affiliate, we’re confident that our prospects will be playing in an environment here in Trenton that will help them develop their ultimate potential.” The Titans played an an unaffiliated team from 1999-2007 and won the Kelly Cup in 2005
