The Flyers still maintain that their captain had a virus … but then management dropped a bombshell Monday morning with an email stating Pronger will undergo left surgery on Tuesday and miss another four weeks. In August 2010, Pronger had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. This time, it’s his left knee.
