The Flyers appear to be catching the Detroit Red Wings at the right time Tuesday night at Wells Fargo Center. Nicklas Lidstrom, the Red Wings’ seven-time Norris Trophy-winning defenseman, is nursing an ankle injury and didn’t make the trip. All-Star Pavel Datsyuk, arguably the top two-way forward in the NHL and the Wings’ top scorer with 59 points, was left home, too, due to a knee injury.
