Yesterday, the Flyers placed Andreas Lilja and Brian Boucher on waivers for purpose of assigning them to the Adirondack Phantoms. With the elimination of the recall waiver rule that existed under the old CBA, the Flyers would be able to bring either player back at a moment’s notice in case of injury on the NHL club.
