Hour-Long Pregame Live Airs from Cure Club on Opening Night
Philadelphia, PA (September 27, 2013) – Comcast SportsNet ushers in the most comprehensive Flyers coverage with 71 high definition game broadcasts on Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network. In addition to live game coverage, the network will air pre and postgame shows, “The Orange Line” weekly magazine show and have extensive online coverage at CSNPhilly.com.
Throughout the season, Flyers fans can catch the latest team developments, game previews and opposing team analysis from Tim Panaccio and Sarah Baicker on “Philly Sports Talk,” “SportsNite,” “Flyers Pregame Live,” “Flyers Postgame Live,” and online at CSNPhilly.com. Flyers High Definition Broadcasts
Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network will air all 71 games in high definition. The Emmy-Award winning broadcast team of Jim Jackson, Steve Coates, Keith Jones and Bill Clement return to bring viewers all the action from the puck drop to the final horn. The latest in X-MO camera technology will provide state of the art frame-rate adjusted HD slo-motion replays. This year’s broadcast will also feature updated graphics and animation elements that will enhance the viewers’ experience by providing current stats, highlights and replays throughout the game.
Flyers Pregame and Postgame Live
Comcast SportsNet provides fans with the most comprehensive coverage before and after every Flyers game. Hosts Michael Barkann and John Boruk tap into Comcast SportsNet’s roster of hockey experts, including former Flyers Rick Tocchet and Bill Clement, Flyers broadcaster Steve Coates and hockey analyst Al Morganti to provide viewers with insightful analysis and lively debate. Fans will also hear from key players and coach Peter Laviolette’s press conference.
Season Opener – October 2
On Wednesday, October 2, Comcast SportsNet will have coverage of the Flyers season opener beginning at 5 p.m. with “Philly Sports Talk,” followed by “SportsNite” at 6 p.m. A special hour-long edition of “Flyers Pregame Live” from the CURE Club in the Wells Fargo Center begins at 6:30 p.m. and features host John Boruk and analysts Rick Tocchet and Al Morganti. “Flyers Postgame Live,” will air immediately after the game on Comcast SportsNet.
The Orange Line – Debuts Tuesday, October 8 at 11:30 p.m.
“The Orange Line,” a magazine show featuring the on and off ice stories of the Philadelphia Flyers airs every Tuesday during hockey season. Each week host John Boruk gives fans an all-access look inside the locker room and follows the Flyers off the ice. The show will also include interviews with the key players and coaches and will explore the franchise’s deep history. Flyers Insiders and analysts will provide the latest buzz around the team.
“The Orange Line” debuts air on Comcast SportsNet on Tuesday, October 8 at 11:30 p.m. It will air every Tuesday at 11:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet and Wednesday’s at 10 p.m. on The Comcast Network.
