The Philadelphia Flyers announced Monday the team has fired coach Peter Laviolette and replaced him with assistant coach Craig Berube.

In addition, director of player personnel John Paddock and director of player development Ian Laperriere have been added as assistant coaches.

The team will make a formal announcement at a press conference Monday at 11 a.m., with team president Peter Luukko and general manager Paul Holmgren in attendance.
