The Philadelphia Flyers mounted a third period comeback on Wednesday night to take down the Detroit Red Wings, 6-3. The Flyers have now climbed back to .500 (13-13-2) for the third time this season. The first period started out well.

THIS is the Flyer’s team I think we’ve all been waiting for.
Kudos to Craig Berube for the fine job he’s done so far.
He has really crafted an about-face for this team.
Also, Detroit is finding out what playing in the East is like on a nightly basis.
While I do think the very top teams are out west, I think this is a “blood and guts” division.
Many of the western teams would not do nearly as well if they were over here…..
