FLYERS-CANADIENS WRAPUP: FLYERS SUFFER EPIC COLLAPSE IN 3RD

The Philadelphia Flyers got their first point of the 2014-15 season but it was hardly something in which the club could take any satisfaction. After building a 3-0 lead on the Montreal Canadiens through two dominant periods, the Flyers utterly collapsed in the final period of the game and went on to lose in a shootout, 4-3.

TOO MANY TRIPS TO COMEBACK WELL: FLYERS FALL 6-4 TO NEW JERSEY

Coming off a 2-1 opening night regulation loss in Boston, the Philadelphia Flyers (0-1-0) are right back in action on Thursday night. Head coach Craig Berube’s club will take on the New Jersey Devils (0-0-0) in the regular season opener at the Wells Fargo Center.

FLYERS IN CAPE COD: DAY ONE

Before getting down to the business of preparing for their regular season opener on Wednesday against the Boston Bruins, the Philadelphia Flyers had some fun on the first day of their team retreat to Cape Cod. players played paintball and then held a team barbecue.
