I am trying to get in touch with the Flyers wives club. My son was hit by a car 12 years ago and almost lost his leg. He is still fighting this battle, in fact he is scheduled for his 14th surgery next Thursday December 17th. Hockey is his life! It always was even at the time he as hit. I am trying to get him tickets to the winter classics game in Boston this year. This is a once in a lifetime event and would be a dream come true for Joey! Not to mention this would be the ultimate Christmas. He has been though so much pain in the last twelve years I would just love to give him a little happiness! Unfortunately my financial situation does not allow to make such a purchase. If there is anybody that could make this happen for Joey. It would be a life changing event for him.
If anyone knows the date for 2011 Flyers Carnival please contact me. My brother Adam is crazy about the Flyers. He lives in a group home operated by BARC. they were going to try to get get tickets for the carnival or a game. they even told Adam what they were going to do. Then they totaly forgot about it and blew it off like it was no big deal. Adam was crushed. I can’t let that happened again.

Susan, if you go to flyerscarnival.com, it appears as if the date is set for 2/27/11, however tix are not for sale yet. Check with their site regularly and you should know that if your brother wants an autograph from a specific player, you may need to purchase tix for that separately online but through the same site b/c they get sold out very quickly and all of the “star” players require a pre-purchased ticket. I have been trying to get Carter’s for 2 years now. The 1st year I went I didn’t know I had to pre-purchase the ticket, the second year, I waited too long and missed out. This year I am keeping a close eye on the event. Hope this helps!
