Earlier this late morning I got a chance to sit down and speak with Chris Pronger of the Philadelphia Flyers about Scott Patil being moved from cash register to sandwich counter at the Wawa on the corner of Cooper Road and 561. Really, Chris? Weren’t you moved from the Hartford Whalers to the St. Louis Blues when you were 20? “Yeah I was traded when I was 20. In the NHL. This Scott kid is 16 and moving spots in a store.” In some ways you could say that the Patil move and the Pronger trade after a couple embarrassing incidents in Hartford are the exact same move accomplished with a time machine, like Lost.
