The Flyers were informed yesterday by doctors that Laperriere had suffered a mild concussion and a brain contusion to go along with his already broken orbital bone as a result of blocking a shot in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals against New Jersey. The 36 year-old forward will miss the rest of the playoffs but was told he will make a full recovery for next season.
