With the Wachovia Center electrifying, the Flyers and Devils put forth an amazingly satisfying contest that ended with the Philadelphia faithful going home happy and voiceless. “Richie and [Simon] Gagne were banging away and they seemed occupied with those two guys and I snuck in there back door,” Carcillo said. “Luckily, it squirted out and I had a pretty easy tap-in.” “You never know,” said Flyer captain Richards.
