Flyers sign Leighton to two-year deal

The Flyers and goaltender Michael Leighton have agreed on a two-year, $3.1 million contract, the Courier-Post has learned. The contract for the 29-year-old goalie will carry a $1.55 million salary cap hit, allowing the Flyers to pursue a quality free agent defenseman such as Anton Volchenkov or Dan Hamhuis.
