Well, the Preds obviously are dumping salary to make a larger move and re-signing Ryan Parent is going to be a lot easier as an RFA than re-signing Dan Hamhuis, who is now a Flyer. When NSH didn’t re-up at the trade deadline you knew Hamhuis was a goner this summer. Wade Arnott, the agent for Hamhuis, says contract talks begin in earnest on MON.
