Thursday night, the Flyers traveled to Pittsburgh to battle with their fiercest rival. The orange and black started rookie goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky against arguably the best team in the east. Common sense would say that the Pens would have their way with us, but as the saying goes, “that’s why they play the game” “Bob” stopped 29 of 31 shots as the Flyers spoiled the opening of the new Consol Energy Center with a 3-2 win
